Qatar shines in Seoul: IAID scores big at the 2025 Asia All Stars Arts Festival

The stage in Seoul, South Korea lit up from July 9–13 as IAID-QATAR, proudly representing the State of Qatar, triumphed at the prestigious 2025 Asia All Stars Festival – Performing Arts Competition. Competing among hundreds of young artists from across Asia, IAID’s talented students earned an outstanding medal haul: 11 Gold, 27 Silver, and 7 Bronze, and clinched 3rd Place Overall in the Music Category, a landmark achievement that places Qatar firmly on the global cultural map.

What made this representation even more powerful was the diversity within the IAID team. Coming from varied nationalities, backgrounds, and disciplines, these young artists came together under the Qatar flag, unified by their shared training at IAID and their passion to represent their second home with pride and excellence.

IAID students competed across solo and group vocals, solo piano, solo guitar, and solo and group dance. The performances reflected not only technical brilliance and artistic depth, but also unwavering dedication, cultural unity, and an unbreakable team spirit. Their presence was more than a showcase of talent, it was a moving symbol of national pride.

Founded in 2001, IAID remains Qatar’s homegrown brand for talent development in the performing and visual arts. The academy continues to affirm its deep promise and commitment to carry Qatar’s name to the international stage, and to foster creativity, discipline, and artistic excellence among its youth.

As IAID celebrates this meaningful victory, it also looks ahead, committed to developing more artists, storytellers, and cultural ambassadors who will represent Qatar with distinction across the world. Adding to the pride of the delegation, IAID Artistic Director, Dr. Dimple Nair, was specially selected as one of the esteemed adjudicators for the Dance Category, a recognition of her expertise and IAID’s standing in the international performing arts community. Her participation on the judging panel further elevated Qatar’s presence in the festival, reinforcing the academy’s global reputation for excellence.
