Ajyal Film Festival

The Ajyal Film Festival for the Youth engages families and educators through an annual celebration of the best in international youth cinema and year-round activities that enrich film appreciation. By bringing generations together through events that inspire interaction, Ajyal opens up a fun collaborative environment where young people can express their views on the various issues they face today. The festival features family-oriented film screenings, master classes for students of all ages, workshops for children and the Family Day event.

IAID has presented a line-up of stage performances and community activities (anime face painting, Japanese henna tattoo and more) for the Family day event based on 2013’s festival theme - Anime. IAID International artists from Russia performed an astounding LED performance while a sand artist from the Philippines mesmerized and inspired everyone with her unique creative talent. In an effort to provide a performance aligned to the Festival's theme, IAID talents also performed a beautifully choreographed Japanese Butterfly Dance.
